After yesterday's stressful, overwhelming day (read about it here) I was relieved and excited about how well today went. It started out early (7:00- I had show choir), but that's how I wanted it because the sing-off list went up early this morning and guess what? I'm in! Well unfortunately there's still another round of auditions before I'm in District Choir but I'm done worrying for a week at least! Later I had AP Calc where we got back two tests and a homework worksheet. Of the three one was 100%, one was 98.8%, and the other was 108.3%! This was hugely exciting for me because I lost my 4.0 to a math class last year so its relieving to not be drowning in math. After Calc I had AP US/Lang where we got back two essays. The first one was just an edit of one we had done in the past and even though most people got 100% I was glad to have aced it! The other essay I was much more worried about because I was always really bad at them in AP World last year. Before they were handed out our teacher told us that he expected most people to score between 2-4 (out of 9) before he graded them and while we all did slightly better than that, he only gave out two or three 8-9's (which are 100%s). Suffice it to say I was expecting somewhere around a 5 but imagine my surprise when I got an 8-9! I was so proud of myself for improving so much since last year! I'm so relieved to have had such a good day today. Actually this week has been pretty good altogether. I found out I have over 100% in two classes, a 99.99% in one class, and 100% in two others. I'm off to an incredible start this year and I'm so grateful to everyone who has helped it to be this way.
