I love London. Like seriously LOVE London. That should be clear by this point on the blog, but if not, it certainly is now. My family is well aware of the obsession I have and my plans to live there (you can read about my life plan on my first blog post here) so you can imagine my excitement when my dad comes home with a brochure about a study abroad program at University of Reading which is about 40 miles from London. He initiated the conversation and even brought up the possibility of my doing the study abroad for one semester of my Senior year in High School! That would be NEXT year. The fact that he even considered this a possibility and that HE initiated it, not me is absolutely enthralling. Me living in the UK? In the matter of a year? Well yes, yes please.
In other my life news, I'm currently interested in attending the College of William and Mary, in Williamsburg, VA. If my memory serves me correctly it is the second oldest college in the US (second to Harvard). Believe it or not part of the appeal is an exchange program they have with the University of St. Andrew's, Scotland's oldest school. You can attend W&M for a year, then U of St. Andrews for another then decide which school you'd like to stay at. At this rate I'll be acclimated to UK culture in no time at all! It's definitely getting me excited for my future.
