Being a Leader

The three things everyone seems to be telling us high schoolers for getting into college are these: get good grades, score well on standardized tests, and be involved!  Well so far I'm good on grades (my grade point is a 3.99 thank you very much- oh and while were on it, SCREW YOU PRE-CALCULUS YOU 4.0 RUINING CLASS OF STUPIDITY) and I am VERY involved in school.  I'm the president of my school's Young Democrats club, the secretary for French Honor Society, an elected representative for Student Council, a core group leader for our school's biggest service organization, a member of Show Choir (we meet every other morning and twice a week after school during competition season), in our city's Junior Leadership program, and I'm about to tryout for the school's musical.  So yeah.  I'm pretty freaking involved.  As you and the rest of the world can probably deduce, this makes my schedule... pretty complicated.  Today for instance I had not only French Honor Society, Student Council, and Young Democrats but also a Project Linus bakesale (my service organization core group) and a choir sing-off for District auditions coming up next Saturday.  Of course I had to attend the choir sing-off because otherwise I would be out of the running for District Choir which meant no FHS or Young Dems. *Sigh*
I found this image on Pinterest and thought it quite ironic to my day given that I think I'm coming down with some sort of flu. UGHHHH.
